Mission Statement

The Arts Education Foundation is a non-profit organization 503(c)(3) designed to help fund art education in all areas of the arts for Missouri state teachers and students. Through this organization, we strive to help educators and students within the state of Missouri attend art courses and art integrated professional development.   The Arts Education Foundation is dedicated to helping art educators and students gain access to the information and materials they need to ensure the best quality art education for all regardless of race, social economic status, or demographic location.  Any student or educator currently involved in an academic institution within the state of Missouri would be eligible to receive a scholarship towards an approved community arts based program.

Future Ideas

The future of this organization has many goals in sight. We are working to establish a website resource with lesson plans, web-links, and mentor contacts for all educators in order to integrate the arts into the classrooms. The Arts Education Foundation would like to act as a sounding board for ideas generated by undergraduate and graduate Art Education majors and share their fresh ideas with seasoned teachers. Funding grants, scholarships and sabbatical projects for Art Educators and Missouri students are also goals in the Foundation’s future. For more detailed information about the foundation please select the About link on the menu above.
